Blog Commenting | Increase Backlinks By Adding Comments On Blog Posts
I cannot stress enough the importance of backlinks to a website; they decide how much free traffic will be sent to your site from search engines. Search engines once just looked at keywords to decide where each page will rank in their searches but today that is no longer the case. Search engines have turned to looking at a pages backlinks to decide the pages rankings, this is more effective than just looking at the keywords because it keeps the keyword-filled spam pages from reaching the top of Google searches. The easiest and most effective way I have found to increase backlinks is by blog commenting.
When you post comments on blog posts you usually enter your name, email, website and of course your comment. Always read the post then make a meaningful comment that adds to the conversation, never add short word comments like “Nice Post” or “Thanks for the information”. Those comments are considered very spammy because they do not contribute to the post, be sure to say something that others will want to read. After you submit your post your name will be hyperlinked to your website, thus giving you a backlink! That was pretty easy hey? If you added comments on every blog post you visit that would add up to a lot of backlinks in a short time! (Rocketing you up in search engine rankings).
To get the best out of blog comments you will want to comment on blog posts that are a part of a Do-Follow blog. Basically do follow blogs allow the links in their comments to be followed by a search engine resulting in a backlink without having anyone click on the links, if you would like to learn more about Do follow and No follow blogs read “What Is Do Follow?”. When you add do follow blog comments search engines will follow your link back to your site with every one of your comments on blog posts, which will result in a lot of easy free backlinks from free blog comments!
It’s hard for me to tell you how effective it is, you are going to have to start commenting on blog posts to truly see how effective this method is. When I first began commenting on blogs I saw an increase in search engine traffic coming to my site within one week, and has been increasing steadily ever since. This is by far the easiest, most effective method to gain backlinks.
So start commenting! (And also Never use comments to spam!)

Do follow blogs play an important role in increasing a sites backlinks and search engine results because it such an easy method to receive quality backlinks. So how do you tell if the blog you are about to comment on is a do follow blog? There are several easy methods..
The first method is the basic way of telling if a blog is do follow or no follow by looking at the pages source code.
The second method is for people who use firefox (most of you already do, but those that don’t we advise you to give it a try!). This method is simply an add on to firefox that will tell you if a link is do follow or no follow, it is about as easy as it gets.
