Blogging is one of the most popular internet activity, thousands of people are doing it for several reasons. There are also many blogging myths that keep other people from starting their own blog. Here are some common blog myths that are often heard:

1. “You need to have lots of experience to start a blog

This blog myth is untrue because a blog can be started with little to no knowledge of blogging. These blogs are usually hosted on free sites but if you don’t know how to blog and are willing to learn and get started, blogging is very easy to start doing.

2. “Blogging takes no time at all

Well this blog myth is false because writing content and setting up a blog can be time consuming. A successful blog requires a lot of time to load with content and make it look professional and then keep updating the content regularly. The more time you put toward your blog the better it will turn out to be.

3. “Blogs are all about peoples personal experiences

This has to be the most untrue blogging myth out there, there are millions of blogs out there and only a handful of those are personal blogs. Most information sites out there are blogs, most of the time you will be on a blog without even knowing it. You can blog about absolutely any topic or niche, the choices are unlimited.

4. “Writing for your blog is very difficult

Very false blog myth! If you picked a topic that you are passionate about writing for your blog should be a snap. When a topic comes to mind write it down, then write a post about it later. If you ever do run into a case of writers block, read my article about ways to combat writers block.

5. “You can’t make money from blogging

Monetizing a blog is the best way to make money online. Problogger, Shoemoney, Johnny Andrews and thousands more are making a six figure income from blogging.
