Get More Traffic To Your Site Using My Traffic Tactics And See Large Increases In Traffic

Anyone who has made a site, blog or really any kind of online business will tell you that traffic is everything that will make or break your business. You will want to get the most traffic you can find and I’m guessing you are wondering how to increase traffic to my website? Well, there are lots of easy basic ways to get more traffic to your site using some of my traffic tactics I use.

Driving traffic isn’t difficult to do if you work hard at it at first then once you start getting solid traffic you can slow down a little bit and still receive large amounts of traffic and also see increases in traffic. So here are a few of the most important traffic tactics that you must follow in order to receive quality targeted traffic to your site.

1st: Patience. Increases in traffic will not happen overnight, it takes time and some work to start receiving quality traffic. Search engines also will take some time to index your new site but it is definitely worth the wait because Google will provide you with most of your traffic. Just be patient and do not rush it, things take time.

2nd: Write Your Own Free, Original And High Quality Content. Writing your own content is the key to getting more traffic to your site. If you decide to take the lazy way and just steal content from other sources Google will not even look at you and you can kiss traffic goodbye. Just write in your own words and be yourself, make sure its high quality and only you have written that way people won’t be able to find this information anywhere else and will have to come to you.

3rd: Exchanging Links. Exchanging links with sites with the same topic and purpose as yours. These are called two way links where you place a link to a site on your site, and that site will place a link back to your site on their site. That way you exchange traffic quite readily and you are helping your visitors out a massive amount.

4th: Advertise Yourself And Your Site. There are countless ways this can be done. Start with looking at forums that can relate to your site and providing links to people who seem to need it, maybe put your site in your signature. Also writing articles and submitting them to article directories (Ezinearticles.com is the best) and placing a link to your site at the bottom of the article will help you get more traffic to your site. Once you try those two simple ways you should try getting into the more complicated ways such as Pay-Per-Click advertising with Google, where you pay Google to drive as many people you want to your site. You pay only cents per person sent to your site, check out Adwords.com. Even old school business cards will work great! Print them off and pass them around every chance you get.

5th: Offer Free Products. People will jump on any opportunity to get something free. So offer a free product or service on your site and people will be driven to your site to check it out. You could give away a free E-book that is related to your sites topic or even free seminars work great for driving traffic.

You can also promote your site on Social bookmarking sites, optimize your site for Google, Youtube videos and myspace. There are thousands of more ways to get more traffic to your site but these are the most basic, so put them to the test!
